Questions? We Got Answers

How do you obtain Coral and Pearls?
You find Coral and Pearls through events. You may also find them as a gift for being active in the group.

Will items ever be for USD or Points?
Probably not but that doesn't mean it's in vain! You can occasionally buy things like MYOs or breeding slots with USD. You don't need to buy the currency items for those types of things. However for items more like the heating potion won't be sold for USD.

In order for two Cherubs to breed, they must complete this prompt. Cherubs can form strong emotional bonds with another, but not all emotions have good intentions. Love is a more positive feeling that gives a cherub warm, fuzzy feelings. On the flip side, hate beats through them and often makes them spiteful. There are many feelings a Cherub have to spark this bond, but this bond is unbreakable. Yes, these bonds can form more than once with different Cherubs.

Most of the time they form a courtship if they fall in love, but as there as good feelings of strong emotion some Cherubs suffer from the negative emotions that bond them. One must be considerate their strong emotional bond and the intentions that lie behind it before deciding to breed.

Bonding prompt comes in three parts. Please put all entries in the correct folder.

Step 1. Meeting

You must share how the two characters met through art or writing. Explore the relations between the characters!

Step 2. Growth
This is the growth between the two who's bond grows. Do they like each other? Hate each other? Are they having troubles being around another? Are they jealous or spiteful? Any strong emotions can connect two together and it's up to you to share how it they grow.

Step 3. The Bond
In a moment cherubs can know when they are bonded. It's an instinctual feeling deep inside them. How do they feel about the bond? How did they come to know when they were bonded? How do they feel towards their bonded partner now? Share their insights to the situation.

Once you complete the bonding prompts, check here for the breeding information:

Questions? We Got Answers

Can we write the prompt entries?
Yes. Each section must be a total of 1,000 words.

What are the requirements for the art piece?
It must be mostly full body, shaded, with a simple background for ambience. I'm not going to be strict on the background as long as I can tell where they are. Since most of them are in the ocean, if they are in a reef add some coral to the background for ambience.

Can we commission someone to do them for use?
Yes as long as the requirements and 3 parts are done.

Once I do the breeding prompt can the characters breed? Do I pay?
Once the emotional bonding is complete, breeding will be open for the characters. You will still need to wait for the season and grab a slot when they are open. You can pay USD, Points, or by getting pearls and buying the breeding tickets. I will say I encourage more item uses for breeding.

What happens if the Cherub(s) are sold or traded?
Then you must re-do the Bonding Prompt if you'd like to breed. It's only because the bonding is specific to the characters, and the thing with trading is new personalities are made.

Step 3: Make the breeding happen.
  • Once you have the conditions met, you will post here with the breeding form located in the ticket chain link.
  • You will post all breeding tickets here. Fees may apply depending on the type of breeding.

By purchasing or obtaining a Cherub, you are automatically agreeing to these terms of service and general group rules of conduct. By breaking or failing to adhere to the T.o.S. terminates any rights to use our species and we retain right to handle this how we see fit. We retain partial rights to any design we create or sell, or hand out strikes, bans, or blacklist users who breaks our T.O.S. There is no excuse for ignorance of these rules.

TERMS OF SERVICE / PURCHASE / USE

  •      Rules & T.o.S. are subject to change. All Cherubs fall under these current rules - official and MYO alike.
  •     When you purchase or trade for an adoptable you are obtaining the rights to that character and not the species. The species rights remains with us (TalonEX and Kanraz).
  •     Customs will not be started until payment is received in full. I will only allow refunds if the custom has not been started. By refunding, you are agreeing to get your money back and not the design. If this situation happens, the design belongs to me and I may sell or keep the custom.
  •     You cannot bid or buy in official sales unless you have paid off everything you owe any of the staff members. You must have money ready unless prior discussed with TalonEX.
  •     Cancelling, refunding, or backing out in official sales will result in being unable to participate in sales, or payment plans, for a given period of time depending on the severity.
  •     If you force refund or chargeback an official sale, you will be blacklisted from future sales indefinitely. The amount of time is at TalonEX 's discretion solely.
  • Trait changes happen, when they happen you may not change the traits on your Cherub(s) to compensate for the lost change in rarity (unless you have a voucher). Be aware of this possibility.

Make Your Own; MYO

  •     MYOs all fall under the species rules. If you made an MYO and trade or sold it, we are not responsible if your additional rules are broken.
  •     A MYO event is when I allow you / the public, to create your own designs of this closed species (Sea Cherubs) and pay for them to be an official Cherub. You may design the MYO or commission someone else to. Credit for the species must always be given.
  •    Be cautious of copyright. If you are inspired by franchise or a copyrighted character, the design must retain their own uniqueness to be distinguished as different. No copyrighted symbols should be used. If the design is too close, we will ask for changes.
  •     Slots may be used one time. If you'd like another MYO, you much obtain a new one.
  •     MYO Tickets may be sold, traded, or gifted without limitations. This includes allowing trading the MYO for items. Once a sale or trade is completed you forfeit control over the ticket; that means you cannot add additional rules to the ticket for the new owner to follow. The group will not back you up on your additional rules broken.
  •     Once you finish the MYO design, submit it to the group under "MYO"s or note the group. Upon approval, you must contact the masterlist ANGELB00K to be added.
  •     MYOs may be designed by other members if you can't design yourself.

Trading & Selling

  •     You are not permitted to solicit to other members unless permission is given to do so via journal. Asking members for their Cherub when they don't have them open to sell or trade counts as soliciting. Do not go around to members advertising your trade or sales. Submit everything to the group to be seen.
  •     Co-Owns are allowed but there must be one main owner listed on the archive. We do not deal with co-owner drama.
  •     You may sell a Cherub for any amount you wish since there is no limit on their resale value. This includes allowing trading Cherub for items. Once a sale or trade is completed you forfeit control over the character; that means you cannot add additional rules to the character for the new owner to follow. The group will not back you up on your additional rules broken.
  •     Backing out of auctions and sales will result you being blacklisted from sales for a limited time depending on the severity.
  •     Cherubs must be registered by the new owner to be put up for sale or trade.
  •     You must notify the masterlist of all ownership changes.

General Group

  •     Art that is NSFW must follow all DA rules. That means sexually explicit may be declined and all mature themes must have filters.
  •     All rules in other areas of the group must be followed (example: rules listed on the breeding center).
  •     Cherubs must be the main focus one way or another. If you are trading something and seeking Cherubs, it must be specific that you seek Cherubs or limited to 3 specific things including Cherubs, not just "whatever", vague journals, or a long list of things you'd like. Journals with longer lists might get declined, we are not a species dump!
  •     Trade or commission journals must wait 4 days before being resubmitted to the group.

Banned; Blacklist

  •     Being banned or blacklisted means you cannot buy, trade, or be gifted a Cherub. You may not participate in the group. I will allow you to keep your Cherub(s) for personal uses only unless you don't own the Cherub(s). As the species owner, I retain the right to reposes your Cherub if I feel like it is the right thing to do.
  •     Any new Cherubs traded, gifted, or sold to banned/blacklisted users will be revoked. I will not provide a refund.
  •     This includes but not limited to: harassment, scam, theft, filing a refund, charge backs, or failing to pay on time. Refunds are not given under most circumstances, though depending on the situation we may refund part of the original purchase. This is at our discretion.

I will only reposes Cherubs if they were scammed, stolen, or not fully paid for at the time of banishment. I'm not going to try to take away your characters you paid for if you misbehaved to the point of going on the blacklist.
